Our day trip to St. Barth from Saint Martin was a wonderful experience. We started with a ferry ride that took about 45 minutes, covering around 15 miles. The ride was smooth, offering beautiful views of the Caribbean Sea. Although my husband speaks French and it is the language of the island, I had no trouble speaking with the locals in English.
Once we arrived in Gustavia, the capital of St. Barth, we enjoyed walking through the shops near the port. The shops had a mix of high-end fashion, unique local crafts, and fun souvenirs. We also stopped at a local bakery to grab a snack and a coffee before heading to our next stop. The atmosphere was both classy and relaxed.
After shopping, we headed to the Gyp Sea Beach Club. Renting chairs there was a great choice. The beach club had comfortable seating, great service, and a beautiful view of the clear blue water. The soft sand and gentle waves made it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the day.
The Gyp Sea also had delicious seafood and refreshing cocktails. We spent our time lounging, swimming, and taking in the natural beauty of St. Barth.
As the day ended, we made our way back to the port for the return ferry to Saint Martin. The ride back was just as pleasant, with the setting sun adding a nice touch to the journey.
Our day trip to St. Barth was a mix of relaxation and fun. Whether you like shopping, eating good food, or just chilling on the beach, St. Barth has something for everyone. If you’re in Saint Martin, a day trip to this lovely island is definitely worth it!
